Good news for techies: IT hiring to pick up in 2021

The technology sector of India is known for generating employment on a big scale. The IT sector will continue to create a huge number of work opportunities in the coming year. According to the report, hiring is set to increase by 10% in the next financial year.

Top 5 technologies you should learn in 2020 to get a job

The $ 177-billion IT industry will cater to 1.8 million technologies in FY20. The country is projected to recruit more than 2 lakh engineers and graduates in the next financial year. India-based technology centers of multinational companies will be driving this majority of fares. About 30 such technology captive centers have been established in India in the last 1 year. IT service vendors usually take on a particular business unit and its employees and badge them again.
With a wide variety of skilled professionals, India is an important technology market. European companies are actively investing in India given the availability of highly skilled workers. The consolidation of various offices in emerging markets like India has resulted in large scale hiring.

The top five IT services companies, including Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, HCL Technologies, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra are expected to drive 40% of the total recruitment in the 2021 financial year. Together these five IT companies have hired over 64,442. Employees in the last six months. TCS alone has made 30,000 on-campus offers this year.

Industry experts believe that technology spending in the digital space will give a further boost to next year's efforts. NASSCOM Chief Strategy Officer Sangeeta Gupta said that the growing need for technical jobs can be met by young technicians looking for opportunities.
