Jehanabad too wakes up to chilly mornings for the last fortnight as severe cold waves sweeps through entire north India. There is still further forecast of a likely severe cold days. People of jehanabad are experiencing the bitterest cold wave in January. The cold waves have disrupted the normal life of jehanabad. It has adversely affected schools and all kinds of business establishments including shops and restaurants. The sale of crushed sesame(Tilkut) has also declined.
