Pollution, congestion and ever-increasing fuel costs have made getting around urban areas a frustrating experience, especially when so many other aspects of our lives are getting ‘smarter’ and easier by the day. They are also given a vast amount of choice in these areas with almost endless ways to personalize and express ourselves, yet when it comes to our cars, that freedom just doesn’t exist. At XEV they want to change that. What they have developed is a car that massively reduces the cost of driving, produces no pollution and allows a level of personalization far beyond what is currently available today. The YoYo is a small, all-electric 2 seat car that has been designed to be perfectly adapted to the modern urban environment. Compact dimensions of just 2.5m x 1.5m mean that you can park it almost anywhere, whilst its torquey electric motor allows you to zip around the traffic cleanly and efficiently.
