Turkey's indigenous car presented to the public ISTANBUL The prototype of Turkey's first indigenous electric car was unveiled on Dec. 26. President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan thanked the creators of the prototype, "a professional team focused only on the task." "Today we witness Turkey's 60-year-old dream come true," ErdoÄŸan said at a ceremony held in Kocaeli's Gebze district. "Our dream was to have a car produced by national technologies that will make a name for us in the world. We were looking for 'Bravehearts' to do this, and now we have them," he added. ErdoÄŸan said that the factory will be built on a 1-million-square-meter land that belongs to the Turkish military in Bursa's Gemlik district. ISRO to launch own space station by 2030

ISRO to launch own space station by 2030 ISRO, in one of its most ambitious projects, is planning to launch its  own space station by 2030 . The announcement was made by ISRO Chairman K Sivan on June 13, 2019. The project will enable ISRO to send more astronauts to space. The ISRO Chairman clarified that India will  not join   the International Space Station ( ISS ) but instead build its own. The full details of the mission will be revealed after the successful completion of India’s first manned space mission – Gaganyaan. The construction of India’s own space station will be an   extension of the Gaganyaan project . "We have to sustain the Gaganyaan program. So, subsequently, as a long-term plan, we are planning to have the space station in India. We are going to join the international community in manned missions to the moon, asteroids. 1.   Cartosat-3: India’s Earth observation satellite launched successfully Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched the Cartosat-3 satellite on 27 November 2019. The Cartosat-3 satellite was launched with help of PSLV-C47 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. PSLV-C47 was also carrying 13 American satellites to space. ISRO has created history for with launching of this satellite as it is capable to take closest photographs of any object from the space. Cartosat-3 is equipped with high-resolution imaging capacity. Cartosat-3 is a remote sensing or earth observational satellite. This satellite will also help in monitoring India's borders and natural disasters. It will be placed in an orbit of 509 km at an inclination of 97.5 degrees.

BharatNet Project: Govt to provide free WiFi to all villages till March 2020 BharatNet Project was earlier known as OFC (Optical Fiber Communication Network) Project. BharatNet  in News:  Union Minister for Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad recently said that free WiFi will be provided to all the villages across the country through BharatNet by March 2020. Currently, 48,000 villages have been connected via the BharatNet project. Union Minister said that we have connected 1.3 lakh Gram Panchayats with BharatNet optical fiber. He also said that our goal is to connect 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats with BharatNet optical fiber.
